The MIAMI KICKERS F.C. won its sixth straight game of the season on Friday night, June 27th beating once again the Puerto Rico Capitals F.C. 4-0 in Plantation, Florida.  Betty Ann Casey Does it again! Betty opened up the score in the 6th minute of the first half and scoring her second goal of the match in the 75th minute of the second half.  Miami Kickers missed several opportunities in the first 20 minutes of the game and continued to control most of the game. Kickers rested some of their starts in the second half which allowed the Capitals to have two great opportunities to tie the game.  However, with 25 minutes left in the game coach Miceli put his starting lineup back on the pitch and three goals followed.
    Coach Marc Miceli said, "The Capital started slow and we nearly capitalized on the first minute of play. We also missed several opportunities to score after Betty's goal.  Betty Ann scored within six minutes of the game on a great back heal through her legs form a low cross from Joanna McCaughey.  I gave five of my starters including Betty Ann Casey a rest in the last five minutes of the first half and in the first 20 minutes of the second half. With 25 minutes left in the game, I put my starting team in the game they scored three goals within 20 minutes left in the game."  The Kicker's defense continues to be unbeatable with captain Rochelle Willis, captain Deidre Bass, Tiffany Rolfing, Alexis Hernandez and Christina Gent.
    Coach Miceli said, "We are playing excellent soccer. My midfielder's are playing very well distributing and changing the point of attack. My defense is solid and my forwards are putting the ball in the net. At this time, the Kickers are truly playing the "beautiful game" the way it should be. The Capitals are a new team in the WPSL this year. I think the Capitals are improving with every game and coach Robert Parr is doing a great job."
