Middleton Yahara Soccer Club Lady Blues join the WPSL
MIDDLETON, WI – MYSC (Middleton Yahara Soccer Club) is proud to announce that one of the top-rated leagues in the world of women's soccer, the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL), will add the MYSC Lady Blues to their 2008 expansion line-up. The MYSC Lady Blues will play in the Midwest Conference alongside 2 teams from St. Louis, and 2 from Chicago.
"We are thrilled to have MYSC join the league," said WPSL Commissioner Jerry Zanelli. "The team has already established a presence in the region as one of the top women's teams with back to back championships in the WPL, and their move to the WPSL is a logical progression. For years there has been an interest from the Madison area to put a team in the league, we are excited that it has finally come to fruition."
