About the Team: The vision of the Sonoma County Futbol Club is to provide top level adult soccer that blends the best players from the diverse soccer player-base of Sonoma County and the entire North Bay, through a professionally run, elite adult program for the entire community to enjoy. The Sonoma County Fútbol Club is a non-profit community organization, funded and supported by its members, donors and sponsors. About the Coaching: April 1, 2008-- The Sonoma County Sol are pleased to announce that they have concluded their search for a new Women's Team head coach. A formal announcement as to the head coaching position is expected on April 7, 2008, when the Sol's Board of Directors next meet. Thank you to all those who expressed interest in the position, who helped in the search and who interviewed. Training and informal tryout schedule for the Sol women's team: Tuesday April 8, 2008, 8pm to 10pm; and Sunday April 13, 6pm to 8pm. Location for both sessions is t.b.a. The first WPSL games of the 2008 season are scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2008 (home versus East Bay Power) and Sunday May 25, 2008 (away versus San Francisco Nighthawks).
