The Palm Beach United WPSL staff announced that it will be going "High Tech". United has been selected to be one of the soccer programs to beta test the new Web based Comprehensive Assessment Program for Soccer, (CAPS) http://capscore.org/. President Dale Sisson states, "we know that we need to be able to make our selections very quickly and accurately. The CAPS program will give us the ability to not only set standards but also quickly and objectively determine which players are more likely to meet those standards." He continues, "in addition the CAPS program is a great motivation tool for players. It gives players immediate objective feedback on basic skills and fitness. Players can then work on their own to improve and enhance their skills and fitness. Setting and measuring goals has never been easier." The CAPS program has been 15 years in design and development and was recently made available to soccer coaches and organizations to beta test.
Palm Beach United announced today that it has started tryouts and training sessions for the 2008 season.
