In the event that a team cannot
meet a minimum standard, this must be communicated to the league and visiting
team as soon as possible. Approval of any exceptions to minimum standards must
be requested in writing to the league.
Minimum Standard 1 Operation
Mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and fax number
must be kept current with league.İ One
person minimum must be available to the league from January thru August. A
substitute contact is highly recommended.

Minimum Standard 4 Schedule
Commitment to have preliminary schedule completed by January 15th and the
official schedule by February15th.İ
After the preliminary schedule is distributed, traveling teams shall
submit to the scheduler, travel considerations such as the last flight out,
i.e. ìI can play on Sunday as long as the game is scheduled no later than
1p.m.î.
Commitment to start season May 1st and be able to
finish the season by Aug. 10th.
Minimum Standard 5 Roster
There may be no more than 28
active players listed on the roster at any given time.İ There is no limit to the number of reserve
players. All must be registered with the WPSL. All registered players must be
listed on the team's roster web page. A maximum of 20 players may dress for
games (game day roster). Game day players must be listed as active on the web
site or will be considered an illegal player. Rosters will not be frozen.
Teams will have until Friday noon
before the upcoming weekend games to report roster changes to the web site
manager.İ The visiting team will supply
a roster (including players names, numbers, positions and school) to the home
team by 5:00pm the Thursday before the game for publication.
Every team must show up with at least 14 players. Any violation of this will be brought to the League Governing Board at the next conference call .
Minimum Standard 6 Uniforms
Each team must
have two full sets of 28 complete uniforms, each set being identical. They must
contain numbers on the back of jersey (at least 8" high). Numbers can
start from 00 and go through 99. Home team chooses colors and informs visiting
team of choice.
Minimum Standard 7 Conduct & Appearance of Team Bench
Personnel
Professional
conduct and attire is required of all team personnel on the bench. No abusive
language. Minimum attire includes collared shirt, dress shorts and shoes.
Minimum Standard 8 Game Day Publication
The home team
will produce a game day publication including both team rosters at all league
games.
Minimum Standard 9 Game Report and Media Report
The home team shall assign a person to sit with the 4th official and assist with completing the game report information including goals, assists, shots, goalie saves comer kicks, goal kicks, fouls and yellow and red cards.
The home team is responsible for faxing the Game Report to the designated league office by noon the following Monday or noon Tuesday if Monday is a Holiday.
The home team is responsible for submitting the Media Report by 11:30 p.m. the day of the game via either fax or the online form. Media Report information includes; game date, game time, game location, attendance, name of home team and visiting team, score of game (1 st half, 2 nd half, final), scorers, assists, time of goals, Offensive MVP and why, Defensive MVP and why, and game summary.
If a team fails or is late to turn in the GAME REPORT and/or the MEDIA REPORT they forfeit their right to all awards for that game including, but not limited to: Offensive and Defensive Most Valuable Player's.
Minimum Standard 10İİİİİİİİİİ Exceptions

Minimum Standard 11İİİİİİİİİİ Adherence
The league shall
have the power to assess penalties on clubs and/or individual club members
or officers. Penalties may
consist of warnings, fines, loss of points, and temporary or permanent
suspension from soccer activities and/or the League.İ
The WPSL will be flexible for new
teams with respect to the minimum standards.
The league does expect all
organizations to strive towards meeting all WPSL standards.
The WPSL understands if a home
field is unavailable because the host site has removed it from play and a team
needs to find an alternate site. The league automatically gives permission for
this to take place.
Minimum Standard 12İİİİİİİİİİ Travel Considerations
When traveling via air, the
arrival time should be 4 hours before the scheduled start of the game. If this
was not done, and the start of the game was delayed as a result, it will be
considered heavily when determining rewarding damages, if any, to the home
team.
All Sunday games should allow for
1‡ hours traveling time after the game.
Minimum Standard 13 Trainer
The home team must provide a trainer for Game Day. The visiting team will be responsible for bringing its own medical supplies not including ice. The home team must notify the visiting team at least 48 hours before kickoff if they will be unable to provide a trainer.
