B.     Championship Weekend

a.       Hotel ö Best Western Sovereign Hotel; 1080 Riverdale Street, West Springfield, MA  01089; Phone: 413-781-8750; Fax: 413-733-8652. Ten minutes from field.

b.      TV ö FOX Soccer Channel will show nationally at no charge, but the league would be responsible for producing the game. J. Ferrara estimates that a local production company would charge $10,000-$12,000. A national sponsor would be the best option to cover costs. If anyone has any national sponsor leads, contact J. Ferrara with the contact information.

C.     J. Zanelli motions and T. Pacheco seconds that the league purchase the press release software recommended by C. Hanlon. Motion carries unanimously.

D.     A South-West/Mid-West conference call will be scheduled for next week to discuss teams, scheduling, referees, etc.

E.      Teams are asked to get venues and game times to C. Hanlon ASAP.

F.      National meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.. West Division meeting continues.

G.     J. Zanelli motions and G. Hobbs seconds that the Union FC bond money be split evenly between the West Division teams. Each teamâs share will be credited to their league account. Motion carries unanimously.
