Thomasville Dragons Games to be Televised by CNS
Thomasville, GA - Thomasville Dragons of the WPSL today announced an agreement with CNS to broadcast the Dragons soccer games during the 2009 season.
"It is great to have CNS as a returning sponsor, and we are very excited that the Dragons games will be televised this year," said Dragons General Manager Jim Wiggins. "The broadcasts will help us reach additional fans in our market as well as bring much greater visibility for our sponsors."
Community Network Services, better known as CNS, is the largest cable programming provider in the Thomasville area. CNS serves Cairo, Camilla, Moultrie, Pelham and Thomasville with analog, digital and HDTV cable programming, internet and telephony service as well as networking services.
"Broadcasting the Dragons games will bring our viewers some of the best soccer action in our area. We are very happy to have these events available to us," commented Sherri Nix of CNS.

About the Team: About the Coaching: F.C. Thomasville has established a strong coaching staff, including several nationally licenced coaches. - Joseph Landreth is the Director of Player Management for the FC Thomasville Dragons. In addition to coaching internationally (Israel), Joseph is a staff coach for the Thomas Area Soccer Association and current player and board member of the Plantation Adult Soccer Affiliate, and a member of the Dragons Mens Over 30 team and Dragons Open Class team. Landreth is also the Director of Operations for F.C. Thomasville.
- Jim Wiggins is a staff coach of the FC Thomasville Dragons and also the Thomasville Dragons - Womens Squad which plays locally organized non-league matches, and also serves coaching boys and girls club teams in Georgia and Florida. Jim holds a USSF National "C" Coaching License. He is a past board member of the Thomas Area Soccer Association. Jim played club soccer at Thomas University and the State University of West Georgia, and currently plays in the Dragons Mens Over 30 team and Dragons Open Class team. Wiggins is the founder and General Manager of F.C. Thomasville.
