Practice Fields: Airport Lakes Soccer Fields About the Team: The Orlando Falcons are considered the Official Premier Women's Soccer Team of Orlando. The Orlando Falcons have no National and Regional Titles to boast. The team is comprised of a very competitive and persistent group of players. 2006 saw a successful inaugural year. 2008 will mark our 3rd season in the city of Orlando.
Orlando Falcons players have all played top level College soccer. They are an elite group of players who love the game and come from diverse backgrounds. Each player has a special niche to bring to the team. Training sessions are conducted at the Airport Lakes Soccer Park in Orlando, Fl and the Orlando Falcons are proud to call the Trinity Preparatory High School home. The Season runs May through August every summer. The Orlando Falcons is a member of the Southern Conference of the WPSL.
About the Coaching: HEAD COACH 2008: KEN HAMMOND
KEN HAMMOND – Head Coach
Ken has 27+ years coaching experience at various levels and age groups, holds a National "B" License and is a former professional Player in both the (NASL) North American Soccer League-Fort Lauderdale Strikers (draft choice) and the (ASL) American Soccer League Detroit Express. Ken's collegiate career at the New Jersey Institute of Technology earned him All American honors as well as Pepsi-Cola "player of the week". He was the head state ODP coach of the U18 girls program (3 years) in Michigan and was instrumental in launching the girls program for Michigan Vardar III Soccer Club, a nationally renowned soccer power. Ken brings a vast knowledge of the game as well as playing experience to our organization. Some of his accomplishments are as follows:

* Former Head varsity coach for Birmingham Seaholm High School girls program, with 4 District, 1 Regional, 1 state championships.
* Former Head varsity coach for Birmingham Seaholm High School boys program, with 3 League, 1 District championships.
* Former Head Coach of successful Futbol Club of America soccer club (girls-travel team) in Florida.
* Former Head Coach of successful Futbol Club of America soccer club (boys-travel team) in Florida.

Ex-Professional Soccer Player in both the North American Soccer League and American Soccer League. Collegiate All-American player. Holder of a USSF "B" level coaching license. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Former Head varsity coach for Winter Park High School boys program, with 1 District championship & Regional runner-up.
