CAGUAS, PR (05/09/08) - The Puerto Rico Capitals of the Sunshine Conference of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) has announced this week their final roster in preparation for their debut on May 24th at Caguas' Sola Morales Stadium versus the Thomasville (Georgia) Dragons. Capitals franchise president Luis Murphy said the inaugural game will mark the first time the 51-team amateur league holds a match outside the continental United States....

Chicago's WPS Team Joins Forces with Madison's WPSL Team

CHICAGO, IL (04/09/08) – Chicago Professional Women's Soccer and the MYSC Lady Blues of the Midwest Conference of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) have officially joined forces to grow the sport of women's soccer in the Midwest the two teams announced today. The Lady Blues will be the Official WPSL Partner exclusively for the State of Wisconsin of the yet-to-be-named Chicago franchise, who will start play at Toyota Park in 2009 in the new top level Women's Professional Soccer (WPS)....
