SACRAMENTO, CA (07/15/10) - After the conclusion of the regular season slate last night, four Midwest Conference teams can now focus on the next step in their mission of a Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) National Championship. The seedings and host venue of the Midwest Semifinals & Final have been announced, and North Division champion F.C. Milwaukee (7-1-0) will host the conference playoffs this Saturday-Sunday, July 17-18 at their "Field Of Dreams" Soccer Complex in Germantown, WI.

"Winning this division is a nice accomplishment," said F.C. Milwaukee Head Coach Christian Lavers. "It took everyone on the roster to get these results... We hope to make a deep run into the play-offs, and home-field [is] a big help in that goal."

The host Nationals will face Fort Wayne F.C. (7-1-2) in the second Midwest Semifinal at 7:30 p.m., while the second-place side from the North - Chicago Eclipse Select (5-2-1) - will go up against defending conference champion OP Elite (7-1-2) in the first Midwest Semifinal at 5:00 p.m. The winners will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night for the right to host the Sunshine Conference champion the weekend of July 24-25 for the berth into the 2010 WPSL Final Four held in Dallas, TX (July 31-August 1).

F.C. Milwaukee clinched the division title with an impressive streak of four straight victories to end the season. The Nationals avenged their only loss of the season with a 2-1 victory over Eclipse last week and over the weekend, swept Madison & KUFC Pursuit before finishing off their regular season last night with a 5-0 win over the 56ers.

Last weekend, Fort Wayne F.C. beat St. Louis Scott Gallagher Elite (2-1) and tied F.C. Metro Magic (1-1) in St. Louis to clinch a share of the South Division title with OP Elite. The Ohio-based side beat Carmel United S.C. on Tuesday night by a 2-0 score, thus giving them the edge over FWFC on tie-breaks and were given the match-up vs. Chicago.

The WPSL Midwest Playoffs will be hosted at F.C. Milwaukee's Soccer Park, located in Germantown, Wisconsin:

5:00 PM - Midwest Semifinal #1: Chicago Eclipse Select vs. OP Elite
7:30 PM - Midwest Semifinal #2: F.C. Milwaukee Nationals vs. Fort Wayne F.C.
SUNDAY, JULY 18:
7:30 PM - Midwest Final: Semifinal #1 Winner vs. Semifinal #2 Winner
