THE RACE FOR THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

In the Northwest Region, Seattle Sounders lead with 21 points, OSA Football Club and  CU Diamonds who sit in second and third place will find it difficult to catch the leaders.

The NorCal region has been thrown in the air after California Storm beat Fresno Freeze FC 2-1 last weekend. Fresno remain in first place having played 8 games with 19 points. But both San Ramon and Cal Storm sit right behind them on 16 points both with games-in-hand. Another big weekend will commence for NorCal on the July 9, as San Ramon host Cal Storm.

Beach Futbol Club and SoCal FC continue to fight to be regional champions in the Coastal region.

PacSouth leaders, FC Tucson Women (17pts) have played 3 games more than 2nd place, San Diego Sea Lions who are on the tails of FC Tucson with only a point difference.

FC Dallas continues to own the Southwest. Going undefeated the entire season, earning 36 points, they are certain to take the regional title.

The Heartland region is home to defending national champions, Chicago Red Star Reserves who look to take the 2016 regional championship. Having 18 points, puts them double points above second place, Des Moines Menace.

In the Valley region, Dayton Dutch Lions will take the regional champions title having run away with 15pts.

Great Lakes will crown Motor City FC regional champions with 9 points between themselves and second place, Michigan Chill SC.

New England leaders for the 2nd year in a row, Boston Breakers Reserves have a current total of 24pts, making them regional champions for the 2016 season.

Mid-Atlantic region stays a close battle between Syracuse Lady Knights who currently lead with 16points but are being closely followed by 2nd place, New York Athletic Club (13pts).

Tri-State leaders, Philly Fever has 21pts, just 4 points ahead of second place, Penn Fusion.

In the Colonial region, the battle between the two teams, Washington Spirit Academy and Washington Spirit Reserves continues. The the Academy sits in 1st place but with 18pts, only 2pts more than the reserves.

The Carolinas continues with a 3 way race. Carolina Elite Cobras have 11pts in 1st place, however, Lake Norman Eclipse are just 1 point behind them, sitting in 2nd place with 10 pts and closely behind them in 3rd place with 9pts stands Carolina Rapids.

Southeast will hold its playoffs to find the regional champion. 1st place Atlanta Siverbacks will play 4thplace, Knoxville Lady force. 2nd place, Memphis Lobos will play 3rd place Gulf Coast Texans. The winners of both games will play each other to determine the regional champions.

Florida Krush continue to lead the Sunshine region, standing with 16pts at the top. Although, Orlando Kicks are now only 2pts behind them in 2nd place and Tampa Bay sit in 3rd place with 11pts.
