The New York Athletic Club is pleased to announce the return of Alisha Moran to our Women's Soccer team for their WPSL season in addition to their campaign to win the 2010 US Women's Cup. Alisha played four years at Harvard and received All Ivy Honors. She was selected to the Irish National Team in 2005 and has earned 36 international caps. Alisha was honored as the FAI Eircom Women's International Player of the Year in 2007. She has been a versatile player at NYAC. Many remember that Alisha scored the game winning goal in the championship match of the US Women's Cup to help NYAC win it's first National Championship in Women's Soccer in 2007. Alisha also scored the game winner in the 2009 semi-final game that returned NYAC to the US Women's Cup championship match for the 2nd time in 3 years.
