About the Team: Premier Soccer Santa Clarita Valley (PSSCV) is open to all women that want to continue playing 'the beautiful game" at the highest possible level after high school or college. We invite anyone with the desire, skills and experience to attend our training sessions and we can get to know each other and see if we are a match. About the Coaching: The Rooks head coach, Steve Cooper, has been coaching AYSO and Club soccer since 1989 in and round the Santa Clarita Valley. After five years of coaching girls club U-14 thru U-19, he was the assistant women's coach for three years at San Diego Christian College which traveled to Germany and England. In his 3rd year at the college, the women's team traveled to Florida to play in the NCCAA National Games. Coach Cooper is a USSF referee and holds an E coaching license. While in Germany he refereed a men's friendly college match. Coach Cooper began the Varsity Boys soccer program in 2000 at Santa Clarita Christain School and is in his tenth year as their head coach. He assisted in the start up and training of SCCS Varsity girls soccer progam in 2002. Coach Cooper and his wife have two adult children all living in the Santa Clarita Valley. In April of 2009 coach became a grandfather of a future soccer player.
Type of Players: We have players with experience ranging from International Players, NCAA Division I-II-III, NAIA and Community Colleges including players that are or will be High School Graduates that are going to be making the leap to the College Game and want to get some idea what the next level is about from those that have played at that level and beyond.

Player Tryouts: Workout and training sessions begin Saturdays in February, contact us by email for current locations. Stop by with your gear and get aquainted. We have found trying out very trying. So come by and see us. |
