About the Team: California Storm of Sacramento are the 1993 & 1994 National Amateur Champions; 1994 Sizzling six USISL National Champions; 1999, 2002 and 2004 WPSL Champions. The only club team in history (1999-2000) to be invited to the National Regional Soccer Festival. The Storm has played the US National Team, Japanese National Team, Mexican National Team, Australian National team, and Ghana National Team during its long history. The team through the years has taken pride in the further development of its players. Fifteen players from the 2000 roster all found positions on WUSA teams. Player Tryouts: Tryouts are organized by the team and usually go on during the college winter and spring break periods. |
