About the Team:
Mississippi Fuego is the minor league soccer franchise of Fuego Ministries Inc. The team competes in the Southeastern Conference of the Women's Premier Soccer League.
The teams inaugural season was in 2012 and plays its home soccer games at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, MS located just between Laurel and Hattiesburg, MS.
Mississippi Fuego Mission Statement:
Strives to compete at the highest level in the sport of soccer while using the sport as a platform to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mississippi Fuego provides the highest level of Women's Soccer in the State of Mississippi to encourage high school, college, and post college players to perform at at a pro-am level and further their soccer career.
Mississippi Fuego will continue to promote soccer in the state of Mississippi in a Christ-centered, professional environment by:
1. Training and discipling coaches and players and producing role models for the game of soccer
2. Developing an Academy and Camp program to train soccer players year round for the Pro-Am level and higher.
3. Expanding outreach and community volunteer activities each summer to support our local communities.
4. Sending our teams each year overseas for soccer competition, missions, and volunteer opportunities.

Currently working on Masters in Sports/Coaching at University of Southern Mississippi.
Type of Players:
Div I, Div II, Div III, college players and former college players. Also players that have played previously in the WPSL or W-Leagues or Women's league's Internationally. Always looking to develop players from the local area and occasionally talented high school and club team players from the state of Mississippi and surrounding regions.
