About the Team:

At ISC, the Vision for our WPSL team is formed with the idea in mind of making women's soccer a community sport in Issaquah and being woven into the fabric of the residents of Issaquah and the surrounding areas.  In 2013, the ISC team has been chosen to be the reserve team for the Seattle Reign FC.

Founded in 1980, the Issaquah Soccer Club has established itself as a valuable member of the greater Issaquah/Sammamish communities and is dedicated to promoting sportsmanship and the love of soccer. The Issaquah Soccer Club is home to over 300 youth soccer teams, helping more than 3,000 children each year to learn, compete and grow as athletes and citizens. The club is one of the largest and most successful youth soccer clubs in the Northwest.

Our mission in conjunction with the WPSL is to:

• Develop a highly competitive amateur women's soccer team
• Provide an opportunity for elite women soccer players to play at the highest level
• Bring quality soccer to all levels of the community
• Promote the stature of female athletes as role models for our youth
• Become a local go-to in the community for all things soccer, including the promotion of women's soccer at the forefront.

About the Coaching:

About Coach Redwine

Erin Redwine will begin her seventh year as head coach at Northwest University. The 2011 season was the most successful season to date as Coach Redwine led the women's team to a second place finish in the conference and a berth in the championship game of the CCC post season tournament. The team finished with an overall record of 11-4-4 and a 7-2-2 league mark. She was named CCC Co-Coach of the Year by a vote of the league coaches and six of her players received all-conference honors. One Eagle player, Stephanie Cummins, was named NAIA All-American. For the first time in NU women's soccer history, the Eagle team received votes for the NAIA Top 25 poll and just missed an at-large bid to the national championships.

She played professionally with the Seattle Sounders and college soccer at the University of Montana and on Seattle Pacific University's Inaugural Women's team where she was named Team Captain, All-Conference First team and Academic All-Star. Erin has deep ties to Issaquah, playing for the Varsity team at Issaquah High School and even started her soccer career with ISC as a young girl.
