TFC About to Begin Second Season

 

 

Allen, Texas- Texas Football Club (TFC) announces their Women’s Premier Soccer League Team (WPSL) will be competing for a second season starting May 2013. The WPSL is the largest women’s national soccer league in the world. It consists of over 50 teams throughout the nation, with a mixture of soccer players of the highest level.  The WPSL has caught the attention of some of the best players and coaches in the world, and has been a league where women’s soccer has flourished.

TFC is pleased to announce its second season with the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL). With our premier youth club, mixed with our WPSL team, TFC provides the complete pyramid of development  for our female athletes. The WPSL is a pro-amateur league and is the largest women's soccer league in the world. It is the highest level of women's pro-am soccer available and was formed in 1998 sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) as an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). We are proud to be a part of this growing league of whose focus is on the development and promotion of Women soccer players.  

WPSL's mission is to provide the highest level of women's soccer while offering affordable, quality family entertainment to the community. Our goal is to provide positive role models for our youth while being a stepping stone for aspiring professional and international players. WPSL teams roster college, post-college, foreign and highly talented high school players.

Our club is excited to continue an avenue of development for women's soccer. We are ready to begin our second season with our commitments to former professional, current collegiate and national team players. As well as continue to develop our youngsters to be future TFC Premier team players.

Amanda McMullan - McMullan has playing experience in the WPSL, W-League and PASL. She also played four years collegiate soccer, and is an experienced college and youth coach.
