About the Team: Emerald City WPSL of Seattle, Washington proudly returns to compete in the Women's Premier Soccer League in the Summer of 2013. Our mission is to develop, prepare, and help facilitate placement for top level, ambitious players looking to play professional soccer in the US or abroad, while giving back to the Seattle soccer community and inspiring young athletes. Our focus on player development during a competitive WPSL summer season will prepare current college players for success in the Fall and post-collegiate players to extend their careers, all while competing for a WPSL National Championship. After our inaugural 2012 season, ECFC WPSL stand-outs Casey Berrier and Megan Chapin went on to play professionally for PK-35 Vantaa, helping the Finnish side advance to the knock-out round of the UEFA Women's Champions League while winning both a League Championship and an Open Cup Championship with the team. About the Coaching: ECFC WPSL boasts a staff of knowledgeable, licensed professionals. Lead by Head Coach Niki Taylor and Director of Coaching Erik Oman, our staff is committed to developing top level, ambitious players and helping them move on to the next step in their careers. Taylor holds a USSF "A" License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, and NSCAA Goalkeeping Level III Diploma.
