About the Team: Ajax America was formed in the mid 70's and joined the WPSL in its infancy. Since its inception it has provided a place in the South Bay for the top female players to continue their competitive careers many of whom have played for their National teams, the WPS and the top College programs in the country. In 2006 Ajax America travelled to Korea to compete in a round robin of friendlies against the National teams from Korea, China, Australia, Russia and Taiwan and made it to the final losing to China 2-1. Ajax America continually competes at the highest level of the WPSL having made the final four, 6 out of the past 9 years (5 of those consecutively from 2006-2010), being crowned champion twice and appearing as finalist twice. Ajax has also won 5 USASA National Cup Championships since 1998. - 2013 Las Vegas Sliver Mug Tournament - Champions

About the Coaching:
Type of Players: Ajax players have all played top level college soccer with some players having played for the WUSA and/or for their National teams.
Local Colleges: Ajax attracts players from the top Southern California College programs as well as from across the U.S. with current players alumni of USC, UCLA, Duke and North Carolina to name a few.
