About the Team:
Jersey Blues FC is an elite women's soccer program that competes in the WPSL and US Club NAL. The club was formed in 2008 as the Millburn Magic, and is the longest-standing WPSL team representing the Garden State.
The club has provided a home for some of the best collegiate players to come out of New Jersey in recent years, including Katie Ryan (Villanova), Katherine Sheeleigh (Harvard), Shira Averbuch (Stanford), Lia Fierro (Monmouth), Mallory Baker (Maryland), Sara Keane (WVU), 2013 All-American Danielle Calaprico (Virginia), U20 USWNT Player Daphne Corboz (Georgetown). In addition to these local players, Blues' Merel Van Dongen (Alabama) was called up to the Netherlands national team in 2013.
The team has proven successful over the years, qualifying for the playoffs in 2009 and 2010 - even reaching the Regional Finals. In 2013, the Blues went an impressive 7-0-1 in NAL Premier regular season play and capped this performance off with a dominant 3-0 victory over New Jersey Wildcats in the play-off final.

"I'am very excited about this upcoming season. The WPSL is a fantastic level to play at especially for those looking to improve in the college off season. As a player I was fortunate to win two WPSL National Championships. This years plan will be the same; to still be playing in late July early August and compete for a championship. I'm equally excited to be partnering up with Becki Tweed who brings a lot of experience of coaching in the WPSL."
