About the Team: Located in the heart of Amish country in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the Lancaster Inferno has earned a place in the middle of the hotly contested East Mid-Atlantic division of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL). In each of its first three years of existence, the Inferno was a contender in the playoffs. This year''s Inferno squad will strive to get back to the WPSL playoffs, with a goal of competing in the national Final Four. About the Coaching: Coach Harris is in his sixth year as the head coach of the Lancaster Inferno. In his five years, Harris has led his teams to a combined 30-14-11 record. A former high school and college coach, Harris is a co-founder and current president of the PA Classics AC, a premier soccer club in central PA that is one of two PA clubs currently involved in the USSF Academy program.
Type of Players: Graduating high school seniors (training for their first year in college), current college players (looking to maintain their high level of fitness and touches on the ball between college seasons) and post-college graduates (still wanting to play at a high level and maintain fitness).
