About the Team: Fort Worth F.C. has, once again, provided a great opportunity for young female soccer players, the majority of whom have come through the Lake Highlands Classic League, local leagues and colleges, with some former professional and International players. We simply want the most committed and dedicated players to come and try-out for our team, play and become role models for our young players and in the community at large.

The Fort Worth Panthers are focused on quality training and player development, to make sure we are ready to compete in the WPSL, which is the largest women's soccer league in the World. There are 50+ teams across the nation and each of those can be researched on the WPSL website at www.wpsl.info.

About the Coaching:

HEAD COACH - Ted Copeland
In the UK Ted was The Football Association's Regional Director of Coaching for the North of England from 1990 until 1998.

From 1993 until 1998 a major part of Ted's job was as England Women's National Team Coach where was instrumental in the development of the Women's game at all levels and took the England Women's Team to the U.E.F.A. Cup Semi-Finals in 1995, the Quarter Finals of the Women's World Cup in Sweden in 1995 and qualified for the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.

His work with the F.A. took him to the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean where he delivered courses to Federation Coaches on Coach Education and Player Development. He was also a senior staff member of the F.A. developing and delivering the full range of F.A. Coach Education Courses throughout England and at the F.A. National Centre, Lilleshall, Shropshire.

Ted also coached in the English Football League with Hartlepool United F. C. where he was First Team Coach.

He also spent 12 years in Saudi Arabia when he was a Lecturer in Physical Education at the University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. During this time he played and coached in the Saudi Premier League with Al Etifag in Dammam, was a consultant to the Saudi Football Federation advising on Youth Development and coached the Saudi U16 and U19 National Teams.

More recently he was Director of Sport at East Durham College in the North East of England where, in association with a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport, he established National Sports Academies in Soccer, Basketball, Boxing, Rugby, Judo, Modern Pentathlon and Rowing, for elite performers aged 16-18. This proved to be an enormous success, providing the opportunity for young people to reach their full potential in both sport and education.

Prior to moving to Spain Ted was Director of Educational Services for Navigator, a global sports marketing company, working with Governments and Sports Organisations in Europe and Asia.

She helped lead the Aggies to four trips to the NCAA Tournament, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2001. She scored five goals and had 11 assists in 66 career games at A&M, while also helping Texas A&M win the Big 12 Tournament in 2001. The 1998 Regional All-Freshmen Team selection, was also a Big 12 Conference Second-Team honoree in 2001.

MANAGER - Jeanette Bradley
Jeanette joins the Fort Worth Panther FC as the Team Manager starting with the summer 2012 season. Jeanette is very familiar with organized and compliant business practices - she is the Assistant Athletics Business Manager for TCU Athletics. Both of her children were active in all sports - both school and club. Her daughter Macy was a golfer and a basketball player and her son Tyler was a soccer and basketball player as well as track and field. We look forward to her being a part of the team!
