Indiana United's Home opener vs. Ohio Galaxies

Indiana United plays host to Ohio Galaxies in home opener at Zionsville High School Turf Stadium field on Monday June 11th 8:15pm.

The team started the season with a great 3-1 victory away to in state rivals Ft Wayne Fever on May 30th. "the team started slow, but once the players settled down and started to move the ball with good combinations, the girls were able to create chance; which resulted in one fantastic individual goal and a couple of great team goals." Said Coach Richards.

In hope of continued success on the field, there has to be good club support off it. "Last year we had three gracious donations to help support the teams expenses and once again the three sponsors stepped up," said coach Richards. "For Eric and the coaching staff to create a good training and playing enviornment and to cover the expenses for the ladies to travel to games, the team needs the financial support. I would like to personally thank Dan Meador (Cassidy and Turley), Diane LaMere (Victory Travels), and Mike Martin (Validated Custom Solutions)". Seen above with the co-captains Kelly Renie and Bea Gassman.

Now the team returns home in preparation for the it's home opener. Head Coach Eric is very excited and has seen the ladies improve throughout the last two weeks in training "I am proud of where we have come in such a short time together. The ladies have been working hard and now with a game under our belt and a few more training sessions I feel confident about this game against the Galaxies."

Coach continued to credit the players for their efforts in training and hopes that the creative style of soccer can be enjoyed by a good crowd come Monday "I hope that with the support of the club and a cheering crowd, we can provide an exciting brand of soccer and deliver a good performance for all to enjoy."

Please show your support for the ladies and come out on Monday June 11th at 8:15pm (kick-off) at Zionsville High School Stadium Turf field.

ENTRY FEE is FREE, but donations are welcome. Finally the players have asked to have a closer connection with the fans in the stand by creating t-shirts. the t-shirts are replica of what the players wear in training and in warm ups before the game. The cost is only $15.00
