Carmen Masalin has been coaching at the college, high school, club, and youth levels in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC, Rochester, NY and Oneonta, NY for the last 10 years. In 2006, Masalin served as the assistant varsity coach for her alma mater, St. Pius X Catholic High School, helping to lead the Lions to the Georgia AAAA State Semifinals. In the same year, she also coached the Norcross Soccer Academy. Masalin spent four seasons in North Carolina coaching the Charlotte United and worked for eight years as a counselor at the Eurosport Soccer Camp. She has also worked in International soccer camps in Toronto, Ontario. She is currently Women's assistant coach for Hartwick College. She was a four year starter and two year team captain for NCAA Division II Queens University of Charlotte, NC. She is also a USSF licensed coach.
The combined expertise of both Carmen and Jukka Masalin ( Sting Head Coach) will continue to fulfill the Atlantic Sport Group mission of grassroots growth and development of soccer in the state of Maine. This coaching team will provide leadership both on and off the field.
