WPSL franchise is to provide the highest | | | | level of women's soccer while simultaneously providing affordable, quality | | | | family entertainment and positive role models for our youth. | | | | | | About the Coaching: Platini Soaf has been a coach for 17 years at all levels of US women's Soccer, and has international experience in coaching, administration and training in Mexico, Brazil, France, Canada, Japan, England, Morocco, Costa Rica and Germany, as well as boy's and girl's Olympic Development Program coaching and training in the United States. Platini has been a staff coach for US Soccer's Under-14 Girls National Identification Camp and an assistant with the Women's National team for an event in Canada and Minnesota 2001. He has also been involved with UCLA's soccer program and was an assistant coach of Mexico Women's National team 1999 World Cup. He has had the honor of selecting, coaching and managing a team from the best players in the California south leagues to represent the Olympic Development teams (ODP) to 2 National Championships (assistant coach with G84 and head coach for G85) and 4 Regional Championships (G84 & G85), and has been responsible for directing soccer courses for Cal south district 2 to teach and examine prospective trainers and coaches ('F','E','D' and YM 6.8 and 10). Platini is currently a professional coach of several teams for the West Coast Futbol Club and continues to direct the Best College Soccer Camp each summer. In California, his reputation is well known as one of the best private trainers to help players to achieve their dream to play for the top levels of division 1 and Youth National teams. Currently he is the head coach of Region IV ODP Girls 91 (since last summer). Platini has a USSF National "A" Coaching License and National Youth License. Coaching Experience: USSF National "A" 2001
